Payment Information at a Glance

Currency

Product prices, order totals, and applicable charges on detroitlegends.shop are displayed in United States dollars (USD), unless the checkout clearly states otherwise.

Where a bank, card issuer, PayPal, or another payment provider applies currency-conversion charges or international transaction fees, those charges are determined by the provider and are not collected by Detroit Legends Sports.

Available Payment Methods

The payment methods currently available for your order are displayed during checkout. Availability may depend on the customer, device, location, currency, order, and payment-provider requirements.

Where enabled and displayed during checkout, available methods may include:

• Credit or debit cards processed through Shopify Payments, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover where supported.
• PayPal, allowing eligible customers to pay using the methods available through their PayPal account.
• Other payment options that Detroit Legends Sports may enable and that appear during the relevant checkout.

Payment Processing

Payment is authorized or collected securely during checkout, depending on the selected payment method and the applicable payment-processing settings.

By submitting an order, you confirm that you are authorized to use the selected payment method and authorize the applicable payment provider to process the order total.

An order is not considered successfully paid when the payment provider declines, cancels, reverses, or cannot verify the transaction.

Payment Security

Our online store and checkout are operated through Shopify. Payment information is processed by the payment provider selected during checkout.

Detroit Legends Sports does not receive or store complete payment-card numbers or card security codes submitted through the online checkout.

Customers should not send complete card numbers, card security codes, payment-account passwords, or other unnecessary sensitive payment information by email, contact form, or telephone.

Product Prices

The price applicable to an order is the product price displayed during checkout when the customer submits the purchase, subject to order acceptance and the correction of clear pricing or technical errors.

Product prices may change over time. A later price change does not normally alter an order that has already been accepted.

Detroit Legends Sports does not currently offer subscription products or recurring billing.

Shipping Charges

Free tracked standard shipping is included with every eligible online order shipped within our available United States delivery area. No minimum purchase amount is required.

Sales Tax

Applicable state and local sales tax may be calculated based on the products ordered, the shipping address, and the tax settings applicable to the transaction.

Any applicable sales tax is displayed as part of the checkout total before the customer submits the order.

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate billing and shipping information so that the checkout can calculate the applicable order total.

Failed or Declined Payments

A payment may be declined or fail for reasons including:

• Incorrect card or account information.
• Insufficient funds or an exceeded account limit.
• A billing-address or verification mismatch.
• A restriction applied by the bank, card issuer, or payment provider.
• A fraud-prevention or security review.
• A temporary technical or provider problem.

Detroit Legends Sports does not control the approval or decline decision made by a customer’s bank, card issuer, or payment provider.

If a payment is unsuccessful, confirm that the information entered is correct or contact the relevant payment provider. You may also use another method when an alternative is displayed at checkout.

Payment and Order Verification

We may review, hold, decline, or cancel an order where reasonably necessary to verify payment, protect customers, prevent fraud, correct an obvious error, or comply with an applicable legal requirement.

Where verification is required, we may contact the customer using the information supplied with the order. Customers should not send complete payment-card details in response.

Where an order is canceled after payment has been collected, the appropriate refund will be issued to the original payment method.

Refunds

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method used for the order. We cannot normally redirect a refund to another card, bank account, PayPal account, or payment provider.

Detroit Legends Sports normally processes an approved return refund within 5–10 business days after the returned product has been received, inspected, and approved.

After a refund has been issued, the customer’s bank, card issuer, PayPal, or other payment provider may require additional time to post the funds. Provider processing times are outside the direct control of Detroit Legends Sports.

Order Cancellations

Customers may request cancellation before dispatch by contacting customer support. We will make a reasonable effort to stop the order, but cancellation cannot be guaranteed after processing, packing, or fulfillment has started.

When an eligible paid order is successfully canceled before dispatch, the refund is issued to the original payment method.

Unrecognized Charges and Payment Concerns

Contact Detroit Legends Sports promptly if you do not recognize an order or believe that a payment concern relates to our store.

Provide your name, order number where available, the transaction date, and enough non-sensitive information for us to review the matter. Do not send a complete payment-card number or security code.

Nothing in this page limits a right or remedy available through the customer’s payment provider or under applicable law.
